Blessing of the Animals.  To celebrate St. Francis Day all pets and their owners
are invited to a brief service followed by individual blessings at 11 a.m. This years

Harrisville State Park Haunted Halloween Weekend!  Come enjoy a frightfully
fun outdoor experience.  Weekend activities include children's games, a site
decorating contest, trick-or-treating,  a haunted hayride and our spooky haunted
trail.  The event offers fun for all ages, so come and enjoy a great fall weekend
on the shore of beautiful Lake Huron.  A current Recreation Passport is required
for entry into the park, but all events are free.  This years event is sponsored by
