Cedar Run Nature Trail
Harrisville State Park ~ Cedar Run Nature Trail
Harrisville State Park is one of the state’s oldest state parks. It was established in 1921 and consists of some 100 heavily forested acres and a mile of sandy beach on Lake Huron. The Cedar Run Nature Trail is a two-mile route through the inland forested areas of the park and takes about an hour to walk. This trail offers a good opportunity to identify the many varieties of trees that comprise Michigan’s famous “north woods.”
Directions: Harrisville State Park is located on US-23, just south of Harrisville.
